Run Local LLMs on Hardware You Already Own

ModelCoor lets you run local LLMs and AI models on hardware you already own. Keep your prompts, data, and inference private instead of sending them to cloud AI providers. ModelCoor coordinates your existing computers into private AI infrastructure your applications can use locally.

Use the Hardware You Already Own for Local AI

Turn existing computers into local AI infrastructure instead of buying dedicated AI servers or relying entirely on cloud inference.

Running a capable model locally normally means one machine with enough memory to hold the whole thing. Most people don't have that machine, so they either pay a cloud provider by the token or give up on local AI entirely.

ModelCoor Lite takes the other path: instead of one big machine, it uses all of your small ones. The model is split across the devices you already have, work is routed to whichever device is free, and the fleet behaves like one machine that is bigger than any device in it.

How it works

  1. Install on your main machine Sign in with your Nionto account. That machine becomes the coordinator for your fleet.
  2. Add every other device you own Same install, same account. Each device joins the pool and adds its memory and compute to the total.
  3. Point your tools at it The fleet exposes a local endpoint. Your chat app, editor, or coding assistant talks to it the way it would talk to a cloud provider.

Run Local AI on Mac, Windows, and Linux

Use ModelCoor to run supported local AI models on the computers you already have, including Macs, Windows PCs, and Linux systems. It is built to coordinate mixed hardware rather than demand a matched set:

macOS Windows Linux iOS Android

Mac and Mac mini systems can become part of your private local LLM infrastructure instead of sitting idle or being dedicated to a single workload. A fast desktop and three ordinary laptops is a perfectly good fleet.

Private AI on Your Own Hardware

Run private LLMs and AI models while keeping prompts, data, and inference on hardware you control.

Privacy Your prompts, your code, and your documents stay on machines in your house, and nothing is handed to a third-party model provider. If you choose to reach your fleet from outside, we pass that traffic through without storing it — see the privacy policy.

Self-Hosted LLMs Without Cloud Dependence

Self-host LLM inference on your own hardware and reduce the cost, privacy exposure, and dependency that come with cloud AI services.

Cost Cloud inference bills scale with every token you generate. Hardware you already bought doesn't send you an invoice.
No new hardware No GPU to buy, no server to rack, no subscription to a data center. Start with what's already on your desk.

Questions About Running LLMs Locally

What is a local LLM?

A local LLM is a large language model that runs on hardware you control rather than relying entirely on a remote cloud AI service. Local LLMs can provide greater privacy, control, and predictable infrastructure costs.

How do I run an LLM locally?

ModelCoor is designed to make running LLMs locally easier by coordinating supported models and the computers you already own into private AI infrastructure.

Can I run a local LLM on a Mac or Mac mini?

Yes. ModelCoor supports local AI workloads on compatible Mac hardware and can use multiple available systems as part of your private AI environment.

Is ModelCoor a self-hosted LLM solution?

Yes. ModelCoor runs supported AI models on hardware you control, giving you a self-hosted alternative to relying entirely on cloud inference providers.
